SOLID WALL INSULATION WORKSHOP - CAMBRIDGE TUES 7 OCTOBER
7:30-9:30pm,
Christchurch, Christchurch Street CB1 1HT (off Newmarket Road near the Grafton Centre).

3 or 4 speakers for about 10 minutes each (powerpoints possible), followed by Q&A from an audience of mostly householders.
BrianSpecMan will give a 10-minute overview of insulation materials - both external and internal, standard impermeable high performance (e.g. Kingspan) as well as  hygroscopic natural insulation (e.g. by NBT) and very thin insulation Aerogel (e.g. Spacetherm/Magnaline).

Taking place in Cambridge for the fifth year running on
September 14 and 20:

OEH tours are backed by Cambridge City Council, the Six-local-authority-consortium Green Deal Communities Fund grant, and by the Cambridge Carbon Footprint charity.

The Open Eco Homes include a whole range of insulation types and a PDF document is available on each house (as well as houses in past OEH events since 2010) on the Open Eco Homes website above.
